Abstract

The present article emmerged from an internal invitation to reflect on the adult learner image that underlies the
multiplicity of actions, in the area of education and intervention and community development, developed by the
Aga Khan Foundation Portugal (AKF Prt). Technical knowledge is privileged in interloction with reflective practices
and based on a lifelong learning approach. The article presents the conception of adult learning based on AKF's
proposal of anthropogogy. Combining text and image for a dynamic reading, the paper intents to support and
inspire opportunities of reflection from multiple perspectives, places and different types of knowledge.
