O papel da liderança escolar na promoção de competências socioemocionais

Neste artigo, discutimos o papel das lideranças escolares na promoção das competências socioemocionais num contexto educativo marcado por desafios pedagógicos, organizacionais e emocionais. Partimos de uma visão holística e humanista da educação, defendendo a liderança pedagógica e transformadora como a mais adequada para promover climas escolares seguros, afetivos e inclusivos. O objetivo foi analisar como a liderança escolar contribui para o desenvolvimento de competências socioemocionais nos alunos. Como metodologia, foram usadas as análises bibliométrica e de conteúdo, em estudos identificados nas plataformas Google Scholar, Scopus e Web of Science. Após a seleção, nove publicações cumpriram os critérios de inclusão. Cerca de metade dos estudos destaca a relevância das competências de aprendizagem socioemocional dos líderes para práticas mais eficazes (empatia, consciência social, decisão responsável). Há evidência consistente de impacto no clima e na cultura escolar. Persistem barreiras: preparação insuficiente dos líderes, pressões por resultados académicos e constrangimentos sociopolíticos. Concluímos que as lideranças escolares são determinantes para a integração sustentável da aprendizagem socioemocional sendo importante repensar a formação de líderes, incorporando competências socioemocionais e políticas de apoio que consolidem ambientes educativos promotores do bem-estar e do sucesso.
